how would we define globalization?

 Summary)

Roland Robertson defined 'the compression of the world and the intensification of the consciousness of the world as a whole'. Al Rodhan and Nayefrf, Gerard Stoudmann defined 'globalization is a process that encompasses the causes, course, and consequences of transnational and trans cultural integration of human and non-human act'. Robertson, White defined 'globalization consists primarily of two major directional tendencies, increasing global connectivity and increasing global consciousness'. I think, globalization is connecting and interacting with human behavior. it needs human's behavior.

Interesting)

I didn't think about the globalization's meaning. it is just not a big deal. but some definings of globalizaiton is help to understand the meaning.

Question)

What is the difference between the past and the present? There have been exchanges in the past, but it was not globalization. what's that difference?

Comments

  1. I think globalization is not only physical but also conscious connection to each other. In the past, they would have exchanged objects, new technologies, and some culture. However, I think that continuous and developmental connections between different countries or groups would have been difficult due to a lack of technology.
