What is Globalization?

summary

Globalization is a very controversial word. Scholars and academics have different definitions of this, and people have different ways of accepting it. But A lot of efforts are being made to define globalization perfectly.

Vellho describes globalization as an object, perspective and horizon. This view is to focus globalization simply on 'objective methods' with sufficient reflection. Vellho defined globalization as the way the world moves.

The spread of the term globalization began only after the Berlin Wall collapsed in 1989 and communism collapsed only partially thereafter.  As communism collapsed, as the word globalization spread, spreads, The position on globalization has been divided.
In relation to the end of capitalism, the view of globalization economically and the view of the wider view of the currency were divided.

In the late 1990s, a movement, which was not confined mainly to Western society, but was commonly called the anti-globalization movement, took place. The growing movement has led to massive and sometimes violent meetings at the international economic organizations. In addition, due to the development of the Internet, a global consciousness of what globalization is perceived to be a large inequality produced has developed. Thus, in the early 2000s, the concept of globalization and the concept of globalization are divided into negative and positive.

Focusing on the capitalist concept of globalization, many important sociological factors have been largely ignored.

Globalization is mainly driven by two main directions: increasing global connectivity and increasing global connectivity. While connectivity is considered a crucial feature of globalization by political scientists, international relations experts and economists, consciousness has been studied more by anthropologists, sociologists and cultural historians. For the example of 9/11 terror, and president Bush, From the perspective of globalization theory, the cultural aspect of globalization has become negligible.

Globalization has a certain form. One of them is, in every way, it was completed with the founding of the United Nations Organization. This remark, like operations, focuses on four reference points: national-state-world politics for the United Nations' globalization. This means that, as with operations, the globalization of the United Nations means world politics among nations.

Globalization is the culture, society, politics and economyof human life. Consisting of four sides. In reality, one or two aspects are intertwined more prominent at a given time or place.

Until now, criticism and analysis of globalization have continued. However, for an accurate critical analysis of globalization, the establishment of a sophisticated framework is essential.

One of the dangers of disciplineless criticism is that globalization is just a negative buzzword, and something to hire.

Interesting things

First of all, I have only considered globalization as a positive aspect. It is because the world has been connected by globalization, and I think more exchanges have occurred and more economic, political, and cultural help has been made between countries. However, I don't think I've ever thought about what the term globalization means and how it has come to be. Therefore, I was impressed by the economic aspect of globalization. I thought globalization was a good means to generate mutual benefits through economic exchanges and help between countries, but rather, it seemed a good opportunity to think about globalization again that it caused economic exploitation and inequality.

Also, using the term itself for globalization seems to have become a little more prudent. At the end of the article, there is a need to establish a sophisticated framework in order to make a critical analysis of globalization. When writing or talking from an international point of view, I used to overuse the word globalization and think of the word globalization as an easy tool to use at any time. But even when using the word globalization,it seems that the word globalization was more convenient because it was a word encompassing the world in a vague and imperfectly defined state, and in that condition, he made a lot of criticisms of the world. So when I read this, and I say the word globalization, in the context of the story, you will likely think about what globalization means and use words.

Discussion

I've read a book called Guns, Germs, and Iron(Gerard Diamond, 1997) before. The book said that the reason for the differences among countries is because of geographical differences, technological differences, and cultural differences. In the book, inequality in the world has already occurred by dominant reason. And before I read this article, I thought that globalization made aid between countries more active, and that countries were free from self-sufficiency and differences, and that there were more means for countries to survive.

And after reading this article, there was also the advantage mentioned earlier, but it made me think again that globalization has created exploitative relations among other countries, and that inequality has deepened, and questions have arisen.

Will there be more benefits from globalization, or will the disadvantages such as inequality be more serious?

I came to the opinion that the disadvantage side has become stronger because of international neoliberalism, technological innovation, and income inequality between countries.

What do you think?
