Why are you taking this class? / Taeyi Lim

When I just entered elementary school, I felt unfamiliar that a foreign country.

I didn't even use a smartphone at that time, and I remember that I didn't start learning the alphabet until I was in the third grade of elementary school.

However, it has changed since the internet developed and people could communicate without time and space constraints.

It is now easy for anyone to check overseas news that was previously only available from news and newspapers.

Although it has gained more attention recently, OTT services such as Netflix allow users to watch foreign movies and dramas, and communicate with people around the world in real time through SNS such as Twitter.

Also, not only cultural but also economically, the whole world is interacting with each other.

Currently, the government is checking each country's situation on the epidemic and sharing and obtaining information on vaccine development, testing, treatment and prevention methods.

That's why globalization is a concept that we should understand well at this point when the whole world is intertwined with the network, and it's clear that it will be important in the future.

I think globalization itself is a comprehensive concept, so I think I can understand it in more detail through this class.
