What is the difference between Korean and Western movie market? / Kim Yoon(김윤)

Movie posters in Korea seem to have a strong tendency to highlight characters' faces compared to those in the West. Koreans think the story of the movie is important, but at the same time, it seems that the "who" appears in the movie is also important. For example, as in the above picture, the director of the film "Jack Reacher" is said to have produced a separate film poster for Korean consumers, featuring the main character Tom Cruise's face. Because he is popular in Korea.
In the West, on the other hand, it seems more likely that the overall atmosphere of the movie is to be put on posters.
