Will 3D printing change the world?

3D printing technology is one of the most important digital technologies representing the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
3D printing technology is rather a business that is gaining attention day by day. In particular, awareness of the need is increasing day by day, especially in traditional manufacturing-based industries.

Its biggest advantage is that it can produce parts that have become difficult to supply and demand due to the proliferation of COVID-19 using 3D printing technology, which can resolve uncertainties about supply chain.

Sophisticated mechanical equipment is used to make complex parts, which increases costs. 3D printers make it unnecessary to have separate equipment for these machines. Companies will have the price competitiveness needed for production and be able to improve profitability. In particular, in addition to the medical sector, which is highlighted by COVID19, 3D printers will be used for the electric parts business, which is considered a future food for major conglomerates. It is also used to build houses with 3D printers, and its biggest advantage is that it is advantageous for unstructured construction.

If you build an unstructured building with rounded or smooth outer walls, you need to have a formwork, but 3D printers do not need a formwork because it is a direct output method. Quantitative use of materials also helps environmental problems because construction waste is reduced and unnecessary materials are not left, and it is also possible to construct in places where it is difficult for people to build themselves. It is also a great advantage that the construction can be completed in less time than human construction can be done quickly.
