[Reading 4] What is the relation between economics and globalization? /PARK HYE MIN(박혜민)
Summary
The economy and globalization are closely related. Globalization has allowed all countries in the global community to connect and share with each other. Some have gone in a more advanced direction by sharing various fields such as economy, culture, and society, but some have worsened the situation. The era of economic independence as an individual has come to an end, with the world's economy flowing into neo-liberalism. In the case of Korea, exports account for most of its economic income, which will inevitably depend on negotiations and trade with other countries and the economic situation of the country. As a result, globalization has been closely linked to the economy and has caused more economic problems such as inequality and poverty than positive directions.
Interesting point
What's interesting about learning globalization is that globalization affects all areas of each other. I don't think we can ignore the impact of globalization, whether it's in a good or bad direction. In particular, looking at the relationship between globalization and the economy, it was interesting that inequality and poverty were not caused by individual faults, and I thought it was a matter to be held accountable together. It was more interesting and interesting to think that the social problems we are experiencing now appeared in the big background of globalization.
Discussion
It occurred to me that all economic problems now should be solved together socially and globally rather than being called individual problems for individuals. If there was a benefit in the process of opening and connecting countries due to globalization, I thought it would be a way for the world to coexist in the future, especially in the direction of poverty and inequality, which is an economic problem. I wonder what everyone thinks about this problem.
