Most important dimension in globalization: Politics
This post is about an answer to question 'Out of the three dimensions of globalization: cultural, political and economics, which is the most important, and why?' in week 2 class.
There are three dimensions in globalization: cultural, political and economics. Among these, I think politics is most important. Because globalization about politics has brought the most important changes to the world.
In case of Korea, there is ‘sam-il (3.1) movement’ for example of globalization about politics. It is the very important movement in Korean history. In its background, there is political globalization.

Self-determination refers to the collective right of each ethnic group to determine its attribution, political organization and political fate according to its own will, and not to recognize interference from other peoples or other countries. It spread to many countries including Korea and it provoked ‘sam-il movement’. Moreover, the movement was not only reported in the media of various countries and affected ‘May Fourth Movement’ in China.
Not
only Korea, political globalization made the democratization of the world. I think that is very important changes in the world and that is why I think globalization in politics is most important.
