What are the most visible (successful) Korean wave elements in the world? /Kim Yoon(김윤)

I think it is K-pop. K-pop, which began to become known to the world in earnest around the 2000s, has formed a global fandom beyond mere attention.

This trend has drawn attention from people all over the world for its diverse culture beyond singers and songs. In Korean liquor, Korean traditional clothes (hanbok), Korean martial arts (Taekwondo), Korean food, and Korean TV programs starring K-pop singers. This trend in Korea continues even in the Corona era. Although numerous human activities have been restricted around the world, people can continue the flow of K-pop based on the advantage of easy access to their favorite singers online. In fact, K-pop has proven its huge and visible influence in the U.S., a foreign country. Recently, K-pop singer BTS topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks. It is the first time that a Korean singer has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the number of songs that have remained at the top for two consecutive weeks since their debut is so rare in Billboard's entire history that only 20 songs have been on the top.

Therefore, I think K-pop is one of the successful elements in Korean wave, in that it has expanded its interest beyond just their favorite singers and songs to other cultures in Korea, and that they are actually showing visible influence elsewhere.
