"Why are you taking this class?"/han seung gu

 There are two main reasons why I take the class.

1.hyperconnected society

With the development of sensor technology and data processing technology, information technology is deeply embedded in everyday life, and everything is connected to humans like a spider web. This is no exception among countries. As technology advances in the future, the importance of globalization will be further highlighted. By taking this class, I want to learn about the upcoming globalization to develop understanding and communication skills in the global society.

2.the age of abhorrence

The world is an age of pan-national abhorrence and conflict.Through this class, I want to overcome them by understanding and communicating the language and culture of each country. I also want to have the ability to flexibly cope with the upcoming future without making past mistakes throughout the history of the world.

[Blog Assignment 1] WVS analysis : Confidence of governments in each nations

Since the outbreak of the Covid- 19 virus, government intervention in quarantine and public support has increased, making the role of the government very important.  However, depending on the public's perception of the government, I was thought that accepting the government's action would be different.  So, through the WVS, I decided to analyze how each country perceives each country's government. First survey question is confidence about their government. Most of country answered "Quite a lot" as 35.9%.  What should be noted is that China accounted for the largest percentage in a great deal overwhelmingly.   People in China were very confident about their government.  But I thought there must be another reason for this result.
