Is globalization is good or bad? / Kim Yoon(김윤)
I look positively at the age of globalization.
Through globalization, people around the world can move and experience almost every country without any spatial or temporal constraints. If we decide, we can reach other countries and societies in many ways tomorrow. By flying there in person or meeting people there through the Internet.
Globalization also benefits a lot from the national side. Taking Korea as an example, Korea has been able to promote various cultural elements, such as K-Pop and K-drama, to the world due to globalization, and has benefited in terms of national image and economy. Thanks to this, the number of people who love Korea itself has now increased beyond the elements that they first entered Korea.
There was also a double-edged sword of globalization in the Corona 19. Among them, I thought of the positive side first. In short, Corona has spread because of globalization, but at the same time, globalization can make the development of better treatments successful as soon as possible. Globalization has not prevented the corona virus from spreading to many countries as it has various interests among countries. The Corona virus has spread across developing and developed countries. Some countries around the world will have relatively less developed health care systems. If globalization has not been achieved and there has been no external exchange, I think it will take more time, especially in such countries, to research and develop the Corona vaccine and inoculate its people.
Well done tying our theory to the current events like Corona! Keep up the good job!
