What is the relation between culture and globalization?

Summary

Globalization is a multidimensional process, taking place simaneously within the spheres of the economy, of politics, of technological developments of environmental change and of culture.

Globalization is a network of interconnectedness and interdependencies that define the material, social, economic, and cultural life of modern society. And it is to say that it is a complex accelerating, integrating process of global connectivity.
Most importantly, it's the economic sector, and it's the institution of the world's capitalist markets. That's an important factor, and it's the pinnacle of global connectivity.

We are not dealing with straightforward empirical judgments about what specific practices drive everything else, but also with questions of the constitution of analytical categories: to what extent are economic practices also, intrinsically, cultural ones?

And it is that it distorts our understanding of the realm of culture. Common expressions, such as "the impact of globalization on culture" or "the cultural consequences of globalization," include the implicit assumption that globalization somehow has its roots and operational landscape beyond culture.

Culture is the most satisfying answer is that it is to generate meaning in life. The need for ‘meaning’ is at the deep centre of the human condition.
We have to be careful not to confuse mere cultural goods with the practice of culture itself.

Interesting point

I was interested in the fact that it can become a global culture if integration effect occurs in the economic sector, focusing on global franchise companies.
Examples include Disney, Coca Cola, Marlboro, Microsoft, and Google. As these symbolic brands spread all over the world, they could form a global culture and further lose the tradition of non-permanent culture.

Discussion

What brands do you think dominate global culture by actively entering the global market these days? I think it is Samsung. Actually, Samsung Electronics is growing as it ranked third in global brand rankings.
