Can cultures be compared? Can we argue that some cultures are indeed better? / Taeyi Lim

I think it is very difficult to compare cultures. It cannot be compared on the same line because it is not standardized like a number and the criteria for culture are not clearly defined. Not only do they pursue different directions, but they also differ in the extent to which each society is allowed.

Therefore, I think it is too much to argue which culture is better. But there may be an unethical culture. It is right to respect cultural diversity, but there is a culture that cannot be tolerated by anyone. For example, honor killings do not even guarantee basic human rights. Unconditional respect for this culture will be too much.
