Is there ranking in men vs. women? Is there ranking in Korean vs foreigner?/PARK HYE MIN(박혜민)
First, I will tell you the ranking between Koreans and foreigners. The perception of foreigners in Korea depends on which country they are from. Especially, foreigners from advanced countries such as the U.S. and Europe are very favorable. This perception has been seen in Korea for a long time and can be found through observational entertainment. As a typical example, when a foreigner from an advanced country asks for directions in English, he or she speaks English and is willing to give help even if he or she is not good at English. However, the perception of foreigners from countries with economic development, not developed countries, is quite the opposite. In particular, the perception of foreigners from countries in Southeast Asia and Africa is distasteful and uncomfortable. They have been working as foreign workers in Korea for the past few years, and whenever the country's economic situation is not good, people have argued that foreign workers have created our jobs, which has spread to more than discrimination. Korea, which is becoming a multicultural country, still has a sense of reluctance for foreign workers to become my neighbor, which can be recognized in connection with the direction of Korea's multicultural policy.
Next, I will talk about the ranking between men and women. The above questions also depend on the situation in each country. In Korea, the two confrontations between men and women are acute. Over the past few years, feminists have been actively talked about in Korea and have become interested in women's liberation. In addition, the Korean society, which has been easily targeted for crimes such as data violence and indiscriminate violence targeting women, has been forced to voice women's voices even more acutely. Men's perception of this is also changing. Regardless of gender, they are calling for the treatment and benefits of gender-based treatment and escape from gender roles, which are commonly called "unreasonable."
