[Reading 4] What is the relation between economics and globalization? / Jeong hyemin

Summary

Economy and globalization have a very close relationship.

A company that works around the world and operates in many countries is called a global company.

In particular, this article describes the TNC. The TNC began in the late 19th century. It started in developed countries at the time of its inception, but over time it has also appeared in many developing countries. Many developing countries are also emerging, and the economic sector is diversifying.

Interesting point

Cultural differences are an important role in the demand for goods and services. Therefore, global companies plan and discriminate products according to the country. In the case of McDonald's, menus and components differ from country to country. In Korea, it is composed to taste the taste of Koreans and plans events that Koreans will like.

Discussion

How can global companies be satisfied with the growing number of foreigners living in other countries, not in their own countries?
