Will 3D printing change the world? / Kim Yoon (김윤)

 I think 3D printing technology will play a big role in changing the world. 

Recently, there has been a case of success in even cloning food with a 3D printer. In addition, there is a common scene in movies where people use it to copy objects. Now the printer can be owned by individuals. Of course, there are concerns that this is highly likely to be abused in crime, but I think it is a promising technology in the part of industrial development if we prepare the institutional foundation for this part. We can restore and preserve cultural assets, clone objects that are difficult to produce, or make goods that take a long time to make, and make things in the same state relatively quickly. Therefore, I think 3D printing technology can contribute enough to change the world.
